The 304 grade of SS (Stainless Steel) Round Wire is corrosion-resistant, even when exposed to saltwater. It’s important to note that 304 stainless steel is not as resistant to saltwater corrosion than 316 grade stainless steel, despite its good corrosion resistance. Molybdenum is added to the 316 grade, which makes it more resistant to chloride corrosion in marine and saltwater environments.
