Description
Due to COVID-19 and the uncertainty over whether we can keep up with demand we have taken the decision to cease spooling until we can be sure of a steady period of production time. We don’t want to take on work that we can’t fulfil. Therefore, we are only able to sell the spools we have already made.
NI200 is commonly used as a heat treatment wire.
To achieve the harder finish these wires are what is known as hard drawn. Please contact us if you require some info on this process. But basically this is a metalworking process which uses tensile forces to stretch metal. As the metal is drawn (pulled), it stretches thinner, into a desired shape and thickness. This is ideal for wires that are required to be more springlike.
NI200 is commonly used as a heat treatment wire.
In modern times it has found popularity in the vaping industry due to it’s high heat resistance. It is used for the DNA40 model of rebuildable atomizer.
